We are planning making Limited Edition ACI Arowana Table Calendar 2006. Please give your vote if you agree and plan to buy the calendar 2006 with the pics mention below. Total 12 pages with 24 high quality arowana pics, some pics were from JD Winata, NAN and VIL. I already asked their permission. Price around Rp. 40,000 include delivery in Indonesia per calendar.

That's a good idea, especially for public holiday, should be given more attention. :)

I've seen many calendar from some company use national calendar but mentioned below public holiday from some other countries like malaysia, singapore and HK. :rolleyes:

Personally,I think it would be difficult since every country's holidays might not be the same.I use the table calender a fair bit and needed local date information.I can only use those printed in Malaysia with full details of dates of evens.Sorry Bro. :(

Yes, I think that's a good idea. Ask the shop to buy 50/100 pcs or more, then we can put their name and adress as sponsor at the calendar. ;)

We started from jan 2005 and will end-up at December 2005.

This is a good idea. I like the picture...is very best asian arowana and giant arapaima...maybe you could add silver or black and Arowana from Irian if you had the pic.
To get more picture in 1 page maybe you could try to combine several picture..rame deh

what paper you will use, and how about this calender finishing: glossy / doff.?
Should put a Spot UV...that would be great result

my personal opinion : i don't think need to put comittee name in the calendar, the calendar point is to show aro pics not comittee name.. just see in the website if they want to see the comitte..
and our comitte name already go in flona magazine right ?
just put aci logos and website address in every pages, i think it shuould be enough,

As I know, we don't have enough money to pay royalty to anyone. :(

Besides, Mr Niwan is one of ACI's advisor and founder........looks unproper if we pay our own founder and advisor some money to get pictures.......... :rolleyes:

NAN , JD Winata and VIL give me about 70 pics for free to use.

Bro Hen, Since we need 12 pics for the calendar, maybe you should post more than 12 pics (e.g. 30-40 pics---just resize it if the pict file is too big) at the forum, and let the member vote to choose.
So the Poll not only for "Yes/No" but also to choose the photos (e.g. Each member can vote maximum 5 difference pictures) :rolleyes:

The 12 highest pictures voted, will put in the calendar. :p
You can set the deadline for the latest time to vote.

I think your calendar is phenomenal!! I can hardly wait to see it! I have a number of friends who would like a copy so if at all possible, I would like 30 copies and will spread them around. I still don't think it is fair that not only do you have a very cool calendar, but some of the most excellent fish in the world....Perhaps, you could sneak a beautiful red arowana in the box with the calendar's.....smile. I am just kidding. I just think it sucks that I will never have the opportunity to see an asian arowana let alone dream of owning one and taking care of it. My wife is Buddhist and we have several silvers, blues, blacks and austrailian....but your asian reds and orange arowana make ours pale in comparison....sigh.
