Shelook Red
On Saturday 6th August, we visited one of ACI's member house, Mr. J. to see his new pond. A good setup indeed which has been discribed in the previous news. There are 15 person joint this trip.

Then we visited Sheelook Red at below mentioned address. Shelook Red is a trade name of a new farm, PT. Inti Kapuas Arowana Tbk. This is the first arowana farm in Indonesia that is listed in Jakarta stock exchange. The company started with an acquisition of a cites registered farm in Pontianak, so this farm has the export capability.

Ms. Fidya Purbasari the Shelook Red Marketing Manager welcome us at the show room. There are a lot of beautiful reds there with various sizes. The show room is very nice designed and very clean look. All the fishes are put in blue background glass tanks. The building is a shop house (Ruko) with hree floor which contains full of super reds. There are two persons guard the show room.

We were guided by Ms. Purbasari to see the show room at first floor, second floor and the last, third floor. We saw some medium reds were labelled SOLD.

There are a lot of reds in various sizes in display, from small to up to seven years old red. Even a very cute Fa Fu Long (FFL) is available there, this is a I Tiauw Lung Fa Fu Long (ITL FFL). But regret it is priced with a very nice price too.

Ms. Purbasari patiently explained the price and the arowanas's quality. All members were very excited to see the fishes, show room etc.

The big boss, Mr. Heru was there too. He said he will open other show rooms in different part of Jakarta and even in some big cities in Indonesia such as Solo, Surabaya etc. He even plan to open an Arowana Boutique, which is a place to display a very very special arowanas or a very rare arowanas. Of course will be tagged at a very very special price too. He seems very ambitious and very optimistic with his bussiness in arowana.

A ware house is prepared too to keep all the stocks, and act as packaging facility for export. It is located at Puri Indah area (which is an exlcusive area in Jakarta). The ware house consist of three shop house (ruko) and is almost ready for operation.

On this occasion, Shelook red offers a very special discount for three pieces Super Reds size 18-20cm. This offer is only valid for ACI members only and for purchase of maximum three pieces only, and is valid for one week only, so hurry up, who fast who get it.

Ms. Purbasari promissed to invite ACI member to visit her new farm in Pontianak, when the farm is ready. She said it is about 30 acre and located in Ambawang river in Pontianak. The farm will be designed with a very modern facility and equipment to monitor the water parameter on-line. We are not patient to wait for the momment to visit the farm.
